Get to Know Terri...

Terri was born and raised in south Louisiana.  She is presently employed at the local hospital in her home town as a Respiratory Therapist.  Terri began her music career at the age of 18, playing in local bars and private clubs.  Her songwriting, however, began at the early age of 13 when she received her first acoustic guitar.  As a self-taught musician (watching her older brothers in the business; getting lessons when she could),  a few of life's let downs as well as uplifting moments inspired her writings.

Terri's love of music and just being "up there" singing her heart out kept her going as a struggling musician/student/part-time picture framer for six years after graduating high school.  The lack of success in the music business and financial instability was reason enough to go back to school and focus on a new career.  So, in 1992, Terri graduated from Nicholls State University with a degree in Cardiopulmonary Science and has been working as a Respiratory Therapist since.

Almost twenty years after giving up the music scene while raising their children, Terri and her husband, Mark formed a classic rock band (CRUSH) and put together a country group (Terri and the Fellas), as well as an acoustic ensemble (Laid Back).

An old friend and fellow musician, Pershing Wells (Digital Sac-a'-Lait Productions), encouraged Terri to record her songs professionally.  It's something she always dreamed of doing, but never thought she'd take it to that level!  After Pershing produced/arranged/recorded her first song "One More Time", it was like a domino effect......song number two "This Part of Me" was recorded, then the third song "Until the End".........
Five songs later....Terri's debut CD is complete!!
